Brooklyn Public Library

Late in the twentieth century, the Brooklyn Public Library began a recruitment program in Canada to fill library jobs in Brooklyn. Upon arrival, several Canadian librarians found the Library to be unfamiliar with free trade and the rules of NAFTA. Furthermore, the staff and management of the Brooklyn Public Library were extremely hostile to Canadians.
