WHO WE ARE

TotalBiblio is owned and operated by JL Logistics Inc., an Ontario-based library services corporation.

The brainchild of longtime friends Frederick Klein and Louis Béliveau, Mr. Klein is the Director of Library Services and Mr. Béliveau the Director of IT Services and Administration.

A graduate of McGill University’s School of Information Studies, Klein has extensive experience in libraries, having worked at Dawson College Library, Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board, McGill Library, Brooklyn Public Library, and the Atwater Library and Computer Centre before relocating to the National Capital Region.

Based in Ottawa since 2005, his first role was external contractor at Canada Post Head Office. Since then, Klein has specialized in providing services to government libraries including the Translation Bureau, the Public Service Labour Relations Board, the Department of National Defense, Global Affairs, the Canadian War Museum, Library and Archives Canada, Depository Services Canada, the Specific Claims Tribunal and the Privy Council.

No stranger to libraries, Béliveau practically grew up at the Town of Mount Royal’s Reginald J.P. Dawson Public Library and his high school’s library. He has worked at the Info-Cult Library in Montreal whose website he still maintains and has provided server and catalogue solutions to the Specific Claims Tribunal Library. A computer systems administrator, Béliveau holds degrees in engineering and law, both from McGill University and is fascinated by libraries, especially special collections.
